Today, ELT Sensor, a specialized NDIR gas sensor company, will introduce you to the CO2 transmitter product for cold storage warehouses supplied by ELT Sensor to Maekawa Manufacturing, a Japanese company specializing in the production of freezers and cooling devices using the natural refrigerant CO2.
There are two types of cold storage warehouses: refrigerated storage warehouses for storing vegetables, fruits, etc., and frozen storage warehouses for storing frozen foods or freeze-dried foods.
These low-temperature storages usually use refrigerants, and Freon (CF2Cl2) and Ammonia (NH3) were commonly used, but the trend is currently changing to use CO2 refrigerant, a representative natural refrigerant, due to the effects of global warming.
